The Quest: 

​

Starting at 1.30pm at Simmons Bar Soho and finishing at a top secret interactive gaming venue. The Great Gathering Quest is a full day of challenges, questionable decisions, friendly competition and classic Gathering chaos.

​

We’ll kick things off by splitting into teams and heading out across the city. Armed with your phone, your team mates and whatever common sense you remembered to bring, you’ll follow your own route, solve puzzles, hunt down locations, complete challenges and tackle optional side quests along the way.

But this isn’t simply a race to the finish. There’ll be points up for grabs, prizes to be won, decisions to make and plenty of opportunities to get distracted. You’ll need a mixture of brains, teamwork, creativity and a willingness to make yourself look slightly ridiculous in public.

The Reward: 

​

As with most events at the Social Gathering Company, there is of course a prize for the winning team: A £50 bar tab!

​

Interactive gaming: 

​

Once everyone makes it to the final location— hopefully with the same number of teammates they started with — we’ll head to a top secret gaming venue for the next part of the day. With 2 free drinks included and 15 game tokens each! You’ll get to take on some games, new and old and battle your friends….new and old! 

​

The After Party: We’ll be heading to Bunga 90 for the official Great Gathering after-party. We’ve secured 30 peoples' entries for the first who book! But don’t worry if you’re not in the first 30. More places are currently available for you to book and still come along! Drinks, dancing and a chance to celebrate your glorious victory — or conveniently forget where it all went wrong.

There’s no official venue for accommodation but we can suggest these great affordable options:

Tuesday Lunch: 

​

And finally, because we know some of you may need a hangover cure the next day, we’ll be finding a friendly and affordable lunch venue for Tuesday lunch meet up for those that are still bumbling around London and need that last Social Gathering fix of 2026.

Note - For Bunga 90, the first 30 people with an option to book entry for yourselves and come along with us if you missed the first 30.

Do I need ID or a ticket?

Yes! The venues we visit we may require ID so please bring this! You won’t need a physical ticket but we’ll tick off your name as you arrive. 

Before the event we will send you a link to our app. Please access this in advance so we know you can play!

 

Late Arrivals:

Players must arrive by 2:15pm
If you're unable to make this, contact us before buying a ticket so we can discuss your situation.

Can I only come to the afternoon/evening or vice versa?

You can come to as much or as little of the day as you want, however the price for the ticket is for both elements of the day and not sold separately.

Gameplay Overview: What are you going to be doing

 

The Gathering Quest:

​

The Gathering quest is an app based interactive quest across London. Packed with puzzles, challenges, hidden clues and brilliantly silly side quests.

​

Working together, your team will follow its own route,discover things in the city you never knew existed,  solve location-based clues and complete photo and video challenges—all while racing against the other teams to earn points. It’s part treasure hunt, part gameshow and part chaotic day out with friends.

You don’t need to be super-fit, a puzzle genius or good at directions—just bring a charged phone, comfortable shoes and a willingness to get involved!

Can we drink while playing?

 

Yes. During the game you’ll be meeting up with fellow challengers at strategic stop off points to re-hydrate and compare notes. An opportunity to brag about your progress so far and have a cheeky drink while you’re at it. Please drink responsibly.

 

What happens if it rains?

​

You get wet. Or you hide in a pub. 

 

Can we use public transport?

 

Yes! However, you’ll be going in the wrong direction! The app will tell you exactly where to go and you’ll need to provide proof in different ways at each point.

 

How do the challenges work?

​

There are a mix of challenges, some will be providing answers at certain locations to unlock the next step of your quest. Some will be video and picture submissions of you completing absurd challenges. There may be some cheeky side quests too

 

All photos/videos are uploaded through the web app and scored in real-time.

 

The game is in three legs with a 30 minute gathering between each leg

Can I be in a team with a group of friends?

 

Absolutely, we’ll be sending out more details on this close to the time.

Interactive Games:

 

We’ve secured entry to one of the UKs most unique gaming venues. With 2 free standard drinks and 15 game tokens each. Unlike anything The Social Gathering Company have attended before. We don’t want to give anything away but we’re sure you’ll have a blast!

Concerned About Gameplay or Anxiety?

 

The game is designed to be fun and silly. If you are struggling at any point, you can stop and take a break! If you’d like to be in a team where they are walking throughout rather than running at points, we can absolutely match you up with others who’d like to do the same.
 

Accommodation:

 

No Accommodation is included in the event. 

 

Food:
 

The end location venue will have food available with plenty of options should you wish to purchase at your own cost.

Photos & Consent:

 

We may take photos or short videos for promotion and as part of gameplay.
 

Feel free to take your own photos during social times.
 

Please avoid spoilers on social media until the event is over.

Cancellation Policy

 

All sales are final – no refunds, cancellations, or credits.
 

Tickets may only be transferred to a future event in the case of exceptional circumstances.
 

Transferring of Ticket policy:

 

If you wish to sell your ticket, you may do so; however, we ask that you inform us of who you sell your ticket to and that they contact us so that we can gather the details we require to fully include them in the weekend's activities.

Abuse & Conduct Policy 

 

Zero Tolerance Policy:

We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to abuse or harassment. Anyone found violating this policy may be removed from the event immediately without refund and may be banned from future events.

 

Reporting Abuse:

If you experience or witness any abusive behavior, please report it immediately to event staff or security. All reports will be taken seriously and handled with discretion.

If you feel there is any malicious action outside of the spirit of the game Karl, Nicci, or Sham will be on hand to support you. 

​
