Get ready for the ultimate city-wide showdown! We’re hosting The Chicken Rush & Interactive Games, and it’s going to be legendary.

The Mission:

 

You’ll be placed in teams to hunt down Sham who will be dressed as a "chicken" hiding in a pub or bar in Central London. You’ll have 2 hours to track him using a live map that shrinks over time whilst completing challenges to climb the leaderboard! 

​

Think Mario Kart chaos, sabotage mischief and a dash of hide-and-seek mayhem - all rolled into one.

The Reward: As with most events at the Social Gathering Company, there is of course a prize for the winning team: A £50 bar tab!

The Evening:

​

The Interactive Afterparty: The fun doesn't stop at the finish line. We’re heading straight to a bar where interactive games (darts, shuffleboard and pool) are already booked. Spend the evening competing in high-tech games, grabbing drinks and celebrating.

Event Location - Where will you actually be?

​

Central London - We can’t reveal the exact start location yet, however it will be in a bar or pub in Central London. The exact location will be sent to participants a few days before the event. The end location will remain a secret!

Do I need ID or a ticket?

Yes! The Pub/Bar we head to may require ID so please bring this! You won’t need a physical ticket but we’ll tick off your name as you arrive. 

​

Before the event we will send you a link to a website that you need to register to online to ensure you have access to the Chicken Rush web portal.

 

Late Arrivals:

Players must arrive by 3pm

If you're unable to make this, contact us before buying a ticket so we can discuss your situation.

Can I only come to the afternoon/evening or vice versa?

You can come to as much or as little of the day as you want, however the price for the ticket is for both elements of the day and not sold separately.

Is this event affiliated with any other company?

​

No. This event is run solely by The Social Gathering Company Ltd and is not affiliated with any other company. We will be using the software of The Chicken Rush to run the game.

Gameplay Overview - What are you going to be doing?

​

Chicken Rush

​

Chicken Rush is the GPS-powered scavenger hunt where you race to complete hilarious challenges, track down the “Chicken,” and sabotage rivals with sneaky in-game weapons. Think Mario Kart chaos, trick-or-treating mischief, and a dash of hide-and-seek mayhem - all rolled into one.

​

Whether you arrive with friends or solo, you’ll be matched into a squad ready to cause some playful trouble. Along the way, you’ll unlock photo and video tasks and collect points as the map shrinks and the pressure builds. It’s high-energy, creative, and unpredictable - no two games ever play out the same.

​

When the final countdown ends, we gather together at the afterparty to swap stories, relive the funniest clips and crown the winners.

Can we drink while playing?

​

Yes. Please drink responsibly. But this is a race to find a Chicken hiding in a pub or bar, so you have a couple of opportunities.

​

 

What happens if it rains?

​

You get wet. Or you hide in a pub. 

 

Can we use public transport?

​

Yes! However, we've found teams rarely use it. A game area (the big out-of-bounds circle) is usually a max. 30-minute walk across, so teams don't need to cover that much ground and walking is enough.

​

How do the challenges work?

​

There are around 20 challenges. Teams complete them and send in photos/videos. The Chicken then decides how many points they deserve while hiding. Examples include recreating an iconic album cover or hugging a stranger for 30 seconds.

 

All photos/videos are uploaded through the web app and scored in real-time.

​

What does the chicken do?

​

At the start, the Chicken gets a five-minute head start to hide in a pub/bar. During the hunt, the Chicken receives all challenge submissions, decides if they're worthy of points and watches teams closing in on the map. 

​

How does the location tracker work?

​

A blue circle on the map shows the area where the chicken is hiding. Every two minutes, the blue circle shrinks - gradually revealing the hiding spot. It’s similar to Fortnite or 'Battle Royale' games. Usually the Chicken gets found in the last 30 minutes

​

Can I be in a team with a group of friends for the Chicken Rush game?

​

Absolutely, we’ll be sending out more details on this close to the time.  

Interactive Games

​

We’ve booked an area in a bar where we’ll have exclusive access to play Interactive Games including Darts, Shuffleboard and Pool for 2hours 45mins. 

​​

These games will be fun and you’ll take turns to play them. 

​

The winning team for Chicken Rush will receive a £50 bar tab and winners medals!

Concerned About Gameplay or Anxiety?

​

The game is designed to be fun and silly. If you are struggling at any point, you can stop and take a break! If you’d like to be in a team where they are walking throughout rather than running at points, we can absolutely match you up with others who’d like to do the same.

Challenges

Whilst you hunt to find the Chicken you’ll be walking around Central London for up to 2 hours, stopping along the way to complete your challenges. 

​

The challenges in the Chicken Rush game are designed to be fun, silly and interactive. It’s a combination of physical challenges that get you moving, mental games that stretch your imagination and spark your competitive streak

​

 

Accommodation

​

No Accommodation is included in the event. 

 

Food
 

The Pub/Bar at both start and end location will have food available with plenty of options should you wish to purchase at your own cost.

 

Photos & Consent

​

We may take photos or short videos for promotion and as part of gameplay.
 

Feel free to take your own photos during social times
 

Please avoid spoilers on social media until the event is over

 

Cancellation Policy

​

All sales are final – no refunds, cancellations, or credits
 

Tickets may only be transferred to a future event in the case of exceptional circumstances
 

Transferring of Ticket policy

 

If you wish to sell your ticket, you may do so; however, we ask that you inform us of who you sell your ticket to and that they contact us so that we can gather the details we require to fully include them in the weekend's activities

Abuse & Conduct Policy

Zero Tolerance Policy:

We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to abuse or harassment. Anyone found violating this policy may be removed from the event immediately without refund and may be banned from future events.

Reporting Abuse.

If you experience or witness any abusive behavior, please report it immediately to event staff or security. All reports will be taken seriously and handled with discretion.

If you feel there is any malicious action outside of the spirit of the game Karl, Nicci, or Sham will be on hand to support you.
